Reviews
Super fun little beach just big enough to play on, find seashells, and splash in the water! Lovely path for walking and a nice grassy area for picnics or sitting on the benches to look at the water.
Plenty of parking, smallish beach, but the boardwalk east and the raised peninsula overlooking the water to the west give plenty of room to enjoy the sea air and sea view.
Plenty of nearby food options if you're hungry before or after the beach
It's one of the best beaches ⛱️ in Connecticut!!
The beach has a beautiful long boardwalk, a small cliff (from the you can watch a nice sunset, and long island, NY), picnic area, jogging track, sitting area, playground, restrooms, and dog friendliness.
A must visit place!!
This a Beautiful, paved walkway with many benches to enjoy the views. Beach area is very small. Additional sand walking path with some elevation not paved but also with great views. Nice & clean bathrooms at entrance.
Great walk here, the views are fantastic and it paved and flat. There is also plenty of access to the beach, where you can find sea glass and shells. There are bathrooms at both ends of the Boardwalk.
A beautiful place to go. There is a boardwalk that is over a mile long that hugs the shoreline and a small beach attached to McCook's park. One ofnour favorite places for years. Must have a pass between Memorial day and Labor day to park in lot.
Beautiful walking along the ocean front on the boardwalk and in the sand! Very well maintained and clean. Close parking, picnic area, public restrooms and nearby playground for kids
This beach was okay. It's a small beach which is good but the water isn't the clearest. Actually, when you go in the water, there is a bunch of seaweed by your feet, and another bunch that might sneak up behind you, so watch out for that.
There is no food on the beach, but there's a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood.
They have an outside shower but no changing room. The fee to park is $50.
I would recommend going to Rock Neck Beach instead. That's on the other side.
Overall, it's not bad.
